Public Speaking
Students will learn how to create and present speeches for different audiences and purposes. Alongside developing speaking skills students will work on creative and formal writing. In public speaking, improving language use and composition is just as important as delivery. These lessons are ideal for students aged 10 years and older who would benefit from more advanced learning opportunities and wish to develop confidence speaking to others.
This is usually taught as a blended program, where writing skills and speaking skills are developed equally. Students are coached through any speeches they have to present. There are also options to complete examinations in public speaking.
