So we can clearly see the difficulties you are having and can create concrete plans to mange them in the spaces you are in.

We can visit you in several spaces - your home, child’s day care, school, resthome, place of work, anywhere you are regularly where you struggle to communicate.

Take the stress away from needing to drive in to another appointment. Being seen in a familiar place can help reduce anxiety in appointments, uses your space to make strategies functional and easy to transfer, and helps us tailor the strategies and tools to the places you struggle in most. This means we can account for the humming fridge or your wife’s voice from the other side of the room when programming your hearing aids. Or coach you using the toys and objects in your home to practise language strategies with your child. These factors allow the service to be personalised to your unique needs, improving your ability to generalise the strategies into your daily life.

In-home visits only apply for individual services. Group, paired and sometime individual lessons in public speaking and confidence will occur in a private community space for hire.

No milage fees apply within the Masterton town boundary. A mileage rate of $1.40 per km from the Masterton town boundary will be charged for visits outside this area (e.g approx. $35 for Carterton area).

The appointment will run like it would as if in an out patient clinic with the exception of needing a small amount of extra time at the beginning to set up equipment or assessments. Access to a standard power outlet may be needed for testing with some audiological equipment.
